• Do not use high pressure cleaners – it can allow water to seep into potentially weak seals or small gaps.
• Wash by hand with a good quality detergent – car detergent works well for caravans too.
• Use a sponge or brush with an extension handle, or use a stepladder to reach all outside parts of your vehicle.
• Start at the top and work your way down to prevent run offs on already washed areas.
• Use glass cleaner and a good cloth or paper towel to clean the windows.
• Wash the canvas with water and a brush only and ensure it is completely dry before folding it back up – this will avoid mildew growing.
• Vacuum the floor inside, dust all surfaces and give it a good wipe down with a moist cloth.
• Wipe out cupboards and clean out the fridge like you will do with yours at home.
• Do regular water tank maintenance and cleaning
• Ensure everything is well maintained and in good working order – this includes the wheels, electrical, lights, etc.
